"We discovered that the treatments at Johns Hopkins were not working. The medical team advised us that the next option in Emily's battle against cancer would be an experimental bone marrow transplant at the National Institute of Health (NIH). The doctors suggested that we take a vacation while Emily's health was good, before she resumed her fight at NIH. Emily's friend Sarah Korn and her mom, dad and brother, Myla, Carl, and Kevin joined us for our Destin getaway. We all focused on enjoying each other and the beautiful setting."   - Jake Davis
